Toledo Children's Hospital is a 151-bed hospital dedicated to exclusively serving the hospitalization needs of children and adolescents. Toledo Children's is the region's only accredited hospital exclusively serving children. We successfully pass the accreditation process set forth by The Joint Commission, demonstrating our commitment to providing our patients and families with the highest quality of care.
We maintain a comprehensive staff of board-certified physicians and Toledo Children's Hospital is the one place where you'll find a newborn intensive care physician and a pediatric hospitalist on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In 2007, the physicians, pediatric nurses and other staff of Toledo Children's Hospital:
- cared for 4,435 patients.
- performed 660 inpatient surgeries.
- performed 1,458 outpatient surgeries.
- treated 22,893 children in our Emergency Center Pavilion.
